These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Resumeter (the "Service"), an online tool that scores and suggests improvements to CVs/résumés. The Service is operated by an individual sole operator trading as Resumeter ("we", "us", "our"), reachable at admin@resumeter.online. Subscriptions are sold through our payment providers — Creem (Merchant of Record, most countries) and Razorpay (India). By using the Service or subscribing, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Resumeter gives a free ATS compatibility score for a CV you provide, with no account required.
A subscription unlocks the full report: AI-written improvement suggestions, saved report history, unlimited re-checks, PDF download, and job-description matching.
The score and suggestions are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee any job interview, offer, or hiring outcome.
AI-generated content may contain errors or generic phrasing. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all suggestions before use, and for the accuracy and truthfulness of your CV.
2. Accounts
To subscribe you must create an account with a valid email address and verify it. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account.
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, to create an account.
You can delete your account and associated data at any time from your account page.
3. Subscription, billing & renewal
The subscription is billed monthly in advance at the price shown for your region — €9.99/month (most countries, via Creem) or ₹300/month (India, via Razorpay). Prices are shown inclusive of applicable taxes.
It renews automatically each month until you cancel. By subscribing you authorise us and our payment provider to charge your payment method on each renewal date.
You can cancel anytime from your account page or your payment provider; cancellation stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the current paid period.
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and only for CVs you own or are authorised to submit.
You must not share your account, resell access, or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service, or use it to process content that is unlawful or infringes others' rights.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, and its design are our property. The improvement suggestions generated for your CV are yours to use. Your uploaded CV remains yours.
6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for hiring outcomes. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
7. Privacy & data
We store your account, reports and the CV text they were generated from so you can access your history, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete this data at any time.
8. Changes & governing law
We may update these Terms or the subscription price; we will give reasonable notice of a price change before it takes effect, and you may cancel before it applies. The "last updated" date reflects the current version. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's principal place of business, without affecting the mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
